“DISCover Leading with Intention Series”

In 2019 we polled 9-1-1 professionals who have left or are considering leaving their 9-1-1 Center. Approximately four hundred 9-1-1 professionals returned a response, and 53% cited poor leadership as to why they left or want to leave the 9-1-1 Center. This service aims to identify what is going well and what is not with your agency as a whole leadership team. In addition, each agency employee will receive a DISC assessment and training, allowing the staff to better understand themselves and each other, allowing for better communication and the ability to set reasonable expectations to prevent disappointment.

In 2021 On Scene First started offering the “DISCover Leading with Intention Series” and is honored to have provided this valuable service to several centers nationwide. We look forward to helping you improve relationships and morale in your center!

The foundation of this series is the “DISC Model of Human Behavior.” DISC is a personal assessment tool to improve teamwork, communication, and workplace productivity. This widely used tool provides a common language to understand better themselves and those they interact with. Doing so reduces conflict and improves working relationships. We are certified and equipped to deliver a 24-question assessment to your team members.
