This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Team Hero’s Walk,

and we are determined more than ever to make a difference in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Our team walks in honor of our hero—my husband, Jeff Eldridge, as the Deputy Chief of the Rochester Fire Department, he has dedicated his life to protecting, serving, and selflessly giving to his community. Now, we walk to support him and the many others living with MS, showing them they are not alone in this journey.

A Special Honor for Our 10th Year, we are humbled to share that Team Hero’s Walk has been asked and honorably accepted the 2025 New Bedford MS Walk Host Team role! This means we will have the incredible honor of kicking off the walk and sharing our story, raising awareness, and inspiring others to join the fight against MS.

Why We Walk: MS is a relentless disease that challenges those diagnosed with it every single day. It tests their strength, resilience, and courage—qualities that our hero and so many others embody. Walking in this event is our way of standing beside them and raising funds for critical research, treatment, and support services to improve their lives.

Our Team: Team Hero’s Walk is made up of an incredible group of family, friends, and first responders who come together for this cause. In a true display of dedication and solidarity, our firefighter team members take on the challenge of walking the 5K in their full turnout gear, which is NOT easy and is a symbolic reminder that neither is living with MS.
